Having Trouble with your DSD files on the Korg that have special characters in their name?

Having Trouble with your DSD files on the Korg that have special characters in their name?

Answer

Special characters in the filenames like ó and ñ and é can present problems for playback of DFF and DSF files in the Korg ms2000 and other older devices.  If you remove or replace those the files, songs should play.  You can rename the songs right on the Korg accessing through USB mode.  The special characters are not a problem on modern full-featured operating systems so they work in AudioGate and other software but the Korg hardware apparently doesn't have support for those extended characters.
